Our 6-Step Approach
Our consultants will meet with you to understand your business needs to identify
- Scope of certification
- Desired standards your organization would like to certify to
- Size of the organization
- Key personnel across key processes
- Desired date your organization would like to achieve the certification(s)
Based on the desired certifications you would like to acquire for your business, our consultants will review available documentations and the implementation of the standard requirements and assess the degree to which the current state of your business meets the certification requirements
Based on the outcome of this assessment, our consultants will provide the following feedback:
- Recommendation to proceed to the next steps for certification (with highlighted minor issues to be resolved prior)
- Suggestion to focus on particular areas of your management system where we see significant need for improvement
- Suggestion to conduct a gap assessment against all of specific areas of the management system against the desired standards, and proceed to next steps once all gaps have been addressed
Once any outstanding concerns regarding system conformance have been addressed, our consultants will walak you through every step of submitting your initial application towards certification.
This would include
- Selection of an appropriate certifying agency
- Completion of forms and initial document submission requests
- Review and clarification of quote provided by the Certification Body (CB)
Our consultants will guide you through what is expected during a Stage 1 audit, help you prepare and submit documentation for third-party review and guarantee a successful pass through to the Stage 2 audit. This step is the least cumbersome in this service package as it involves little to no physical interactions with the selected third-party certification body.
This step predominantly comprises an on-site visit by one or more third-party auditors from the certification body. Third-party auditors will review your company’s management system compliance by means of sampling objective evidence. Our consultants will prepare your organization’s key personnel on how to manage and answer audit related queries put forth by the third-party auditors. We will continually monitor the progress of the certification audit and provide real-time support, as required.
This final step involves providing the certification body with responses to any gaps (also called non-conformities) identified within the organization’s management system at the time of the audit. Our consultants will guide you through the process of taking dispositions to identified non-conformities and subsequently carrying out a value-added root cause along with the implementation of effective corrective actions. Objective evidence of all actions taken as a result of observed non-conformities would then be provided to the third-party certification body for review and if the responses are found to be adequate, a certificate is awarded to your business.
